last september. facebook announced a technology partnership earlier in the week that aims to expand internet access to five billion people currently not connected. apple may receive reduced punishment for conspiring with publishers to raise e- book prices. the department of justice has suggested to cut the current punishment in half.to five years. the injunction prevents apple from making deals with publishers that would limit price competition. officials say the ruling that the original proposal would unnecessarily harm apple.
